Bookmark’s studio guest this week is Adele Geras. Born in Jerusalem and the mother of best-selling crime author, Sophie Hannah, Adele is incredibly prolific in her own right. She’s written more than 90 books for children and young adults, and four novels for adults. She talks about where her inspiration comes from and why it’s taken her eight years to write her latest novel, Cover Your Eyes.
We also have interviews with crime writer, Christobel Kent, on her latest novel The Crooked House.
And poet and blogger Shayista Tayabali talks about why she decided to write a blog about Lupus, the painful auto-immune disease that she’s had since she was nine years old.
