Ruth’s most recent book, John Aubrey; My Own Life, was shortlisted for the Costa Biography Award and described as ‘extraordinary’ by Mary Beard and ‘irresistible’ by Philip Pullman.

We also talk to Geoff Andrews about Shadow Man, his biography of James Klugmann, the mysterious figure at the centre of the 1960s Cambridge spy circle.

And Cathy Moore, Director of the Cambridge Literary Festival, looks ahead to what’s coming up in April’s Festival.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
