Bookmark welcomes the redoubtable Jill Paton Walsh to our studio this week. Jill has been writing for almost 50 years and her critically acclaimed novel, Knowledge of Angels, was nominated for the Booker Prize in 1994. She is though perhaps best known for her Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries which have continued the work, and developed the character, established by Dorothy L Sayers. Jill talks about falling in love with Peter Wimsey herself and ensuring the stories stay relevant and sexy without losing their vintage charm. Also on the show is Harry Sidebottom chatting about his new novel, Fire and Sword, the latest in his Throne of the Caesars series. And Rachel Lloyd tells us how she uses fiction to teach pilates to children.
