Our studio guest is journalist and biographer, Midge Gillies. She is author of the widely acclaimed biographies of record-breaking pilot, Amy Johnson, and Edwardian music-hall star, Marie Lloyd. More recently she has explored the ingenuity and creativity of WW2 Allied Prisoners of War in Barbed Wire University.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
