Leigh Chambers’ guest is activist and campaigner, John Bird MBE. Most famous for founding The Big Issue in 1991, John has gone on to write a memoir Some Luck and the self-help books How To Change Your Life in Seven Steps and The Ten Keys to Success.

We also have interviews with former Fenland Poet Laureate Elaine Ewart on being inspired by the history and landscape of the Fens. And Crown Court Judge, Peter Murphy, discusses his latest legal thriller, And Is There Honey Still For Tea?, set just after the defection of Philby, Burgess and Maclean, the so-called Cambridge spies.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
