105 Drive with Julian Clover: Parker’s Piece Skipathon

Residents have been taking part in a Skipathon on Parker’s Piece this morning, re-enacting a one hundred year tradition last seen before the outbreak of the second world war.

Julian speaks to Cambridge-based artist Emma Smith, who helped to organise the event as part of the refurbishment of the University Arms Hotel and Marina Baker describes a photo of her at the event in 1937 to Hilary Cox Condron of the Museum of Cambridge.
