Our final report from the Cambridge Film Festival is an interview with the director Farshad Aria, an Iranian director who has been working in Europe for decades now. It is a documentary that follows an Iranian refugee – a young girl by the name of Raya – as she tries to find food and shelter in Amsterdam. She is aware of the camera crew, who follow at a distance and capture moments of kindness, bullying and – mainly – confused concern from the passerby’s.
The film had it’s World Premiere on Saturday at 4pm – with the director in attendance.
