Over 100 musicians from the 2 cities have signed up to learn a new instrument with one lesson in 8 weeks, take their grade 1 exam and then play in a concert. Jan Moore went along to the Oxford and Cambridge Note Race lesson day and spoke to Rohan Platts, the harp teacher and 2 musicians who have signed up to take grade one on a new instrument. As this is their only lesson before the exam in September, the pressure is on.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.
