105 Breakfast: The Three Wheelies

Nikolas Pontikos and Sriyal Mendis visited the Cambridge 105 studio to tell Tim and Lottie all about their upcoming adventure in which they will be crossing India from Kochi to Shillong for 14 days in a tuktuk.

They will be departing from Kochi on the 6th of April and hope to arrive in Shillong, 4000km and 14 days later! India has one of worst road accident rates in the world which makes this the craziest and most dangerous challenge they have ever attempted!

They are raising money for Cool Earth and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
