Woods and Water Folk Concert at Stapleford Granary

Join folk artist Lewis Barfoot and multi-instrumentalist Elisabeth Flett as they journey with song, spoken word and music to create a rich tapestry of land, people and stories. Drawing inspiration from traditional folk music and nature.
Woods and Water – Guides the listener through landscapes of moss, trees, rivers, birdsong. and magic! With original compositions and reinventions of traditional songs including Bonny Portmore, Diggers and Wild Mountain Thyme performed on voice, guitar, fiddle, viola, ukulele and loop pedal, Woods & Water promises to be a spellbinding performance which will enchant folk fans and nature lovers alike.
Lewis Barfoot is a timeless and gifted storyteller who captivates listeners with her fearless lyrics and gorgeous ‘other-worldly’ voice.
Elisabeth Flett is an award-winning Scottish multi-instrumentalist, theatre-maker and writer. Winner of the 2015 Cecil Sharp House Adult Fiddle Championship and the 2021 University of Aberdeen Literary Lights Creative Writing Award.
