The Tokyo Ghost Cafe – Book Evening

“Julian and Chie invite you to step into the Tokyo Ghost Cafe, weaving prose and manga together to re-tell classic ghost stories from Japan. Along the way they share personal encounters with the other world, and the story of their collaboration and research on the tsunami recovery coastline of North East Japan. The event concludes with live drawing and reading, conjuring their take on a classic Japanese yōkai monster.”The book is 100 Tales from the Tokyo Ghost Cafe – a re-telling of classic Japanese ghost stories told in a mix of manga and prose.
