October 13th Showcase with Sadie Comment, Laura Dannan, Kev Minney and friends.
Sadie is an American fiddler and singer-songwriter, now living in Cambridge, who takes her inspiration from French Louisiana, Texas and the Great Lakes. Join her in an exploration of watery landscapes, heartbreak and celebration.
Laura is a singer/songwriter from Hertfordshire. Her quirky narrative style and relatable lyrics combine storytelling with vivid imagery, producing songs with light-hearted insights into life’s trials and tribulations.
Kev’s emotive songs tell stories of tenderness, grit, hope and authenticity, straight from the heart. Cambridge Folk Club is Kev’s first stop on his European tour promoting his recently-released third album, Take Comfort Here. He will be joined by Ben Weedon (violin/vocals) and Alfie Weedon (double bass/vocals).
