Alexfest at The Alexandra Arms

Alexfest returns for a summer weekend full of music, entertainment, games, food, drink, and good times. Raising money for their charity of the year, Cambridge Food Bank (http://cambridgefoodbank.org.uk)
Friday, 5th August – Open Mic night and guest DJ from 6.00 pm.
Calling all budding singers, musicians, and comedians! If you have a talent, we want to hear it!
As well as great local talent the resident D.J. will be mixing smooth summer grooves to get you into the weekend spirit.
Talking of spirits, try a tempting Cocktail and Gin creations along with the classic PIMMS and a selection of great Beers, Wines & Spirits.
Saturday, 6th August – Acoustic live music from 1pm featuring: Exit Theory, Time Holehouse, Karmadillo, Ellie Walker, Matt Hammond, Darren Michaelangelo Smith.
Sunday, 7th August – U B The D.J. 1.30-4.30 pm – Unique Vinyl Disco where you choose the music from a vast collection of Vinyl classics.
Hog Roast – available from 12.00 -3.00 pm, perfect with a Pimms or Stein of beer.
Cocktails- (2 for £10) and classic console, board, and arcade games to bring out your competitive side!
Food and drink specials available all weekend. Free entry and family friendly (including your dog!)
What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
