Greg Butler, host of Cambridge 105 Radio’s Kipper the Cat Show (Mondays, 11pm), joins Tony Barnfield to discuss the Cambridge Record Fair to be held on Saturday 2 November and the value of 78rpm and vinyl discs, as well as reflecting on changing recording techniques over the past century or so. Two other men of music feature in this edition of Roundabout with Tony Barnfield: 100-year-old former BBC music producer and composer Stephen Wilkinson on his Cambridge connections and Nicholas McCarthy, born with no right hand but who has forged a successful career as a left-handed pianist, ahead of his Apex appearance in Bury St Edmunds on 4 November.
