Alex Ruczaj came in to the studio to talk about the new initiative from the Cambridge charity, Please Take Me There. Throughout October, the charity are offering children in Cambridgeshire with serious conditions the opportunity to fly for free to medical consultations, family gatherings and recreational activities in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
