Twilight with the Museums: Half-term Family Programme
Monday February 13, 2023–Sunday February 19, 2023
The University of Cambridge Museums (UCM) and local partners get ready to deliver a jam-packed week of events.
Exploration and discovery await with the return of the ever-popular Twilight with the Museums, an annual February half-term programme of family activities and events. Whether it’s exploring a museum collection after-dark, or dropping-in during the day for some hands-on creating and making, this year’s Twilight has a huge range of options to choose from.
Descend into the Greek underworld to meet ancient gods and face new challenges, discover some amazing space-themed toys and become a ‘Space Explorer’, learn how to connect up carrots to a working computer, encounter animals by torchlight and see your local museums in a whole new light.
This year the museums and Botanic Garden are delighted to be hosting a number of bookable, after-hours, torchlit events across the week – the first since 2020 – all part of the broad programme of half-term activities which also includes daytime events across the museums and partner organisations, and unique events for families with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Full details of all the events along with information on how to book will be available on the Twilight webpage from Wednesday, 18 January

What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
