Simulacra – An Exhibition
Monday April 3, 2023–Wednesday May 31, 2023
A new exhibition at the Museum of Classical Archaeology. This one is quite unusual: Zachary Eastwood-Bloom’s Simulacra features works produced not quite by his own hand but by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He uses 3D scans of well-known sculpture, but the algorithm distorts them to create challenging new works – some of which are on display with us for the first time!

The exhibition opens with the Private View on Monday and then runs into the start of June.
What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
