Taking place at St. Philip’s Church, 185 Mill Road, CB1 3AN
Doors open 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start
The Noisy Women Present, (TNWP) in partnership with Realife Trust, Cambridge, present the first of 3 collaborative, experimental, spontaneous performances by musicians and practitioners of improvisation, live video art, spontaneous dance, singing, field recordings and spoken word. They will celebrate open, inclusive creativity and diversity with an opportunity for the audience to participate if they wish. The second and third performances in the series are on 1st and 29th June at the same time and place.
The house band comprises: Faradena Afifi, Afghan/British, multi-instrumentalist and Tai-Chi practitioner/Maggie Nicols, Scottish free-jazz and improvising vocalist and dancer/Marion Treby, pianist/Talitha Annan, double bass player/Joanne Morrison, vocalist and spoken word artist/Jane Hollingsworth, drummer, percussionist and brass player/Nicky Smith Realife Trust wellbeing hub lead, percussionist/singer and dancer and lLulu Agate, singer, whistle and wind player.
Tickets – £14, cash or card on the door. Concessions: Pay what you can.
