Fen Ditton Gallery – Rivers
Sunday October 2, 2022–Sunday November 27, 2022
This Autumn, Cambridge based contemporary art gallery Fen Ditton Gallery, will host a series of exhibitions inspired by rivers and the natural environment.
The exhibitions are open to the public, free to attend and will showcase a unique collection of artworks in various media including; ceramic, enamel, drawings, maps, printmaking and photography. Inspired by the atmosphere of the local landscape and its inhabitants, and curated through a range of perspectives, local rivers, waterways and the natural environment are captured in intricate detail throughout this series of exhibitions.
The autumn exhibitions series have a central theme of Rivers, but each has a unique focus:
· 1st – 16th of October: focused on Suffolk’s River Deben
· 22nd October – 13th of November: a wider look at rivers in the UK and the wildlife that exists within their banks
· 19th – 27th November: a look at endangered species in ‘Art Science and Climate Change’
