Held on the first Saturday of June\, residents and visitors gather together on Midsummer Common to celebrate their vibrant and creative city. \nThe Fair is a labour of love and is run entirely by volunteers (affectionately known as Strawberry Fairies) who channel their energy\, imagination\, and vision into presenting their friends and neighbours in Cambridge with a great\, free day out. \nStrawberry Fair is a visual and musical extravaganza for all the family\, a jamboree for people of all ages. Strawberry Fair is a feast for music lovers and anyone who wants to participate in Community Arts. Throughout the Fair\, across over 10 hours of the day\, you can enjoy an eclectic range of music and performances from well over 100 groups\, both local and from further afield. SUMMARY:RANT - at Stapleford  Granary - Outdoor Concert
DESCRIPTION:A folk concert from 7:30pm taking place in the unique setting of our covered outdoor courtyard. All tickets are seated. \nBethany Reid\, Anna Massie\, Lauren MacColl\, Gillian Frame\, fiddles \nOne of Scotland’s finest folk groups\, RANT use only their fiddles to weave a tapestry of textures\, sounds and musical colour\, drawing on old reels\, jigs and strathspeys alongside their own compositions. Since the release of their debut album in 2013\, the band have made major festival and concert appearances across the UK\, Ireland and Scandinavia. They provided strings for Julie Fowlis’ Gach Sguel album\, and their music has been used for both BBC and ITV national television programmes. DESCRIPTION:A nature festival from 25 May to 30 June with many interesting events. \nOne example of interesting events is The Wildlife Trust (BCN)’s annual river Cam bat punts with Scudamore’s provide one of the most exciting evening experiences of summer on the river in Cambridge. Enjoy a unique experience setting off just before dusk.
