SUMMARY:Midsummer Fair
DESCRIPTION:One of the most exciting events in the Cambridge calendar\, Midsummer Fair\, returns to the city with rides and great fun for all. As one of the longest-established fairs in the UK\, it is also a cherished part of the city’s history. \nThe Fair\, which is run by the Gypsy\, Roma and Traveller community on Midsummer Common\, is free to enter. In 1901\, the Cambridge News described the opening of the event as “the delight of children and the pleasure of not a few adults.” \nThroughout history\, there has been a variety of entertainment at the fair including fire-eating\, sword-swallowing\, moving pictures and wrestling. Today\, the entertainment is mainly fairground rides and stalls that all ages can enjoy. There is a fee for individual rides and stalls.

SUMMARY:Pride and Prejudice
DESCRIPTION:“It is a truth universally acknowledged\, that a single man in possession of a good fortune\, must be in want of a wife.” \nWhen Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy first meet\, it’s dislike at first sight. Born into a lesser noble family with four sisters\, with nothing to recommend them but their charms\, Elizabeth is beneath the wealthy Mr Darcy’s notice.
