DESCRIPTION:Mini free festival ALEXFEST that takes place this weekend. \nAlexFest returns with three days of free music\, food\, drinks and entertainment raising money for our house charity Empty Chairs\nemptychairs.org.uk \nLive music on Friday evening from 6pm featuring: Chlo Kitteridge\, Ghost Carnival and Gentle Billy. \nOn Saturday The Alex will be one of the venues taking part in Cambridge TradFest with Irish and traditional dance music performed by Niamh Gallagher (fiddle)\, Joe Bardwell (guitar) and Kevin Naughten (flute) 3-6pm. In the evening there will be acoustic performances by Old Man Boom and Lost Robins (Duo). \nSunday afternoon there will be laid back DJ sets by Ollie and Rayne Gel to see the weekend out in style.

SUMMARY:Cambridge Ceilidh Family All Stars
DESCRIPTION:Keith Day is the caller for several ceilidh bands in Cambridge and is known to many as a Cambridge Folk Festival compere of some 50 years standing\, and was a member of the famous Cambridge Crofters. His wish was to select a band of the best players from the Cambridge area and add on a horn section to make a big noise. It ended up a 13-piece band!
