SUMMARY:Exhibition - Passing Traces
DESCRIPTION:A new show\, titled Passing Traces\, runs from 15 September – 5 October at the Ruskin Gallery\, Cambridge School of Art (Anglia Ruskin University). Curated by Elisabetta Garletti (Murray Edwards College)\, it brings together works by the AA2A resident artists: Isabel Castro-Jung\, Stepanka Facerova\, Joana Mamede\, Natasha Vikulina\, Sid White-Jones. \nThe exhibition asks: what remains after something has passed? Through performance\, sculpture\, film\, and installation\, you explore the idea of trace as both presence and absence\, layering memory\, movement\, and material in unexpected ways. \nIt’s a great chance to highlight the thriving artistic community in Cambridge and open up a conversation about contemporary art and performance. \nFor more info e-mail Sid White-Jones at sj668@cam.ac.uk
