DESCRIPTION:Following on from last summer’s successful course of ballet classes for older dancers\, Karen Stringer of The School of Russian Ballet in Cambridge will be running classes every Wednesday morning in July and August from 11.00 to 12.00. \nSuitable for all experienced dancers and those who are improving.   Karen is an expert in training adult dancers to a high standard. \nProper ballet attire will be needed – pink or black ballet shoes\, pink or black tights\, black leotard (any style) and a black chiffon skirt (optional\, but nice). \nClasses will take place at the YMCA Dance Studio and will cost £10.00 per class. \nFor more info – e-mail Karen at dancingshmoo@hotmail.com

SUMMARY:Drop-In Group for Families of Children with Special Needs
DESCRIPTION:A new free drop-in support group that starts on 7th July 2025 at Melbourn Hub\, Mondays 9-11am. It’s for families of children with SEN and is run by Jo Grazebrook\, a former teacher for 25 years\, SENCo and parent of children with SEN. DESCRIPTION:The Lord Chamberlain’s Men\, now in their 21st year\, are performing Shakespeare’s greatest romantic comedy\, Twelfth Night\, in the gardens of Anglesey Abbey on both Saturday 16 and 23 August. Bring something comfy to sit on\, pack a picnic and enjoy one of Shakespeare’s masterpieces performed in the open air. \nGet set for a spectacular performance on the South Lawn with Anglesey Abbey’s Jacobean-style country house as part of the backdrop. \nThe gates open at 6pm and the play will start at 7pm. Get seated\, enjoy a bite to eat and catch up with friends.
