SUMMARY:Penelope Quadrangle and the Meaning of Friendship
DESCRIPTION:What would you do if your best friend murdered someone? For Penelope Quadrangle\, the answer is simple: hide the body. Sure\, her bestie Natalie doesn’t talk much\, or invite her to birthday drinks\, and might be a serial killer\, but without Natalie\, she’d be nothing. So when Natalie brutally murders a client at their workplace\, priority number one is make sure nobody ever finds out. Ever. If Penelope is one thing\, it’s loyal. (And extremely well-dressed. And absolutely\, definitely\, not lonely.) \nThis production is suitable for ages 12 and over. \n\n\n\n\nNightly performances at 7.00 pm taking place at Corpus Playroom.\n\n\nTickets – £8.00 to £12.00.\n\n\n\nFor info to to https://www.adctheatre.com/whats-on/play/penelope-quadrangle-and-the-meaning-of-friendship/

SUMMARY:Pride and Prejudice
DESCRIPTION:“It is a truth universally acknowledged\, that a single man in possession of a good fortune\, must be in want of a wife.” \nWhen Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy first meet\, it’s dislike at first sight. Born into a lesser noble family with four sisters\, with nothing to recommend them but their charms\, Elizabeth is beneath the wealthy Mr Darcy’s notice. Elizabeth sees Mr Darcy as a man born only of unpleasant arrogance and privilege. Their pride and prejudice blinds them to each other’s true feelings\, but can they overcome their flaws in spite of all obstacles\, and find their way to happiness together? \nExperience Jane Austen’s classic tale of hate to love\, revitalised in this production full of laughter\, colour\, and life. \nThis production is suitable for all ages. \nEvening performances at 7.45 pm with a matinee at 2.30 pm on Saturday \nTickets – £10.00 to £17.00 \nFor info go to https://www.adctheatre.com/whats-on/play/pride-and-prejudice/

DESCRIPTION:One of the most exciting events in the Cambridge calendar\, Midsummer Fair\, returns to the city with rides and great fun for all. As one of the longest-established fairs in the UK\, it is also a cherished part of the city’s history. \nThe Fair\, which is run by the Gypsy\, Roma and Traveller community on Midsummer Common\, is free to enter. In 1901\, the Cambridge News described the opening of the event as “the delight of children and the pleasure of not a few adults.” \nThroughout history\, there has been a variety of entertainment at the fair including fire-eating\, sword-swallowing\, moving pictures and wrestling. Today\, the entertainment is mainly fairground rides and stalls that all ages can enjoy. There is a fee for individual rides and stalls.
