DESCRIPTION:Held from 19 October – 10 November\, this event aims to teach attendees of the ways they can implement circular economic initiatives into their daily lives through various interactive\, entertaining and informative workshops and pop-ups\, which will populate the shopping centre for the duration of the event. \nWith events for music heads\, eco-enthusiasts\, fashionistas\, arts and crafts fanatics\, animal lovers\, and more\, the event offers the ideal October Half Term family day out. \nThe Grand Arcade will welcome back its award-winning sustainability event\, Let’s Go Circular\, for its third and most ambitious year. Following the success of the past two years\, which had sold out workshops\, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better\, with extended dates to accommodate an even broader range of fun-packed activities for visitors to engage in. \nLet’s Go Circular is Grand Arcade’s annual celebration of sustainability where organisations showcase the innovative and creative ways to embed circular economic initiatives into everyday lives through interactive workshops\, pop up stalls and exhibitions. Visitors are invited to take part in engaging workshops that teach valuable practices such as reducing food waste\, repairing and upcycling items\, extending the lifespan of clothing\, promoting wildlife regeneration at home\, and calculating personal carbon footprints. \nFor further details of the events\, click here.

SUMMARY:Cambridge Bonfire Night
DESCRIPTION:This beloved event\, organised by Cambridge City Council and one of the largest free displays in the region\, will take place on Midsummer Common on Saturday 5 November\, sponsored once again this year by Illumina. \nRegarded as the safest and best way to enjoy Firework Night\, the event is one of the city’s longest running and best-loved traditions\, when thousands fill Midsummer Common to watch as the night sky is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour. \nCreating the display is multi award-winning Pains Fireworks. Established in 1862 they are the oldest fireworks display company in the UK. \nLarge numbers of people are anticipated\, allow plenty of time for your journey\, arrive early and wherever possible walk\, cycle\, or use public transport. Additional Park & Ride services will be available for the evening.
