The Easts

To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the second, we present The Easts, an eight-part family drama set in the East of England which spans the seven decades of the Queen’s reign.

Broadcast weekdays at 8.30 and 11.30am and on Sunday 5th June at 10am.

Written by Tony Ramsay, Simone Chalkley, Julia Bolden, Bel Greenwood, Vanessa Ackerman, Aga Serugo-Lugo, and Katie Ward.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the local broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
