We speak with Cambridge restaurateurs about how well the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme is working, and to Giles Yeo from Cambridge University about the government’s anti-obesity strategy. We go August foraging and, as it’s national allotment week, we discuss our appreciation of allotments. And we hear from Felicity Cloake about her book, One More Croissant for the Road. Presented by Matt Bentman, Alan Alder and Sue Bailey.
Securing the future of Local Radio
Cambridge 105 Radio is the local broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
