DESCRIPTION:A regular annual village event with its roots in the Middle Ages\, The Shelford Feast maintains the tradition of bringing the community together to celebrate\, all with the aim of having a good time whilst raising money for local good causes\, with over £370\,000 raised to date. \nBeer Festival\nSat 6 Jul 2024 12:00 – 5:00pm\n\nThe ever-popular beer festival returns to kick off Feast Week 2024\, featuring over 30 different beers and ciders for you to enjoy plus live music during the afternoon. \nWe aim to provide a selection of different styles from porters to pale ales\, showcasing the best from our local breweries and further afield. Food will be available from the Feast food tent and from a selection of local food vendors. \nEntrance to the Beer Festival is free! \n  \nTrevor Nelson\nSat 6 Jul 2024 7:00pm – 11:00pm\n\nYou won’t want to miss out on Trevor Nelson’s final appearance at Shelford Feast\, promising to start the week off with a bang on Saturday\, July 6th. If you haven’t experienced his sets at the Feast before\, this is your last opportunity to catch him in action. \nPlus\, get ready to groove all night long with support from Cambridge 105 Radio DJ Chris Brown. Join us for a captivating showcase featuring their classic hits alongside a lineup of exciting new numbers. \nFrom their group performances to the addition of fresh tunes\, it’s sure to be a memorable event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nComedy Night\nThu 11 Jul 2024 7:00pm – 11:00pm\n\nCome and enjoy three top stand up comedians and our hilarious host in the Shelford Feast’s Grand Marquee! \nWe’re delighted to have Marcus Brigstocke\, a major comedy\, writing\, and acting talent\, with an impressive list of TV credits and regular appearances on BBC Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue\, The Now Show and Just a Minute. Marcus is the master of satirical comedy and has proved to be blisteringly funny over a wide range of topics including; climate change\, religious extremism\, immigration\, loans companies\, the Special Relationship\, compensation culture\, women’s magazines\, the EU\, and David Blaine\, not to mention his own personal battle against his middle-class roots. \nJoining Marcus for the evening is Nick Page\, English Comedian of the Year 2018. His shows are full to bursting with stories from a life lived on the edge of (self inflicted) disaster. Also on our bill is Ashley Frieze\, a guitar-toting funny man with a charming\, daft\, and warm brand of music-infused stand-up comedy. \nFinally. our MC for the evening will be Brennan Reece\,a multi-award winning working class wordsmith\, as seen on TV’s Live at the Apollo\, Celeb Coach Trip and Roast Battle. \nBe prepared for a side-splitting evening of stellar entertainment! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNatalie Williams’ Soul Night\nFri 12 Jul 2024 7:00pm – 11:00pm\n\nFriday 12th July at the Shelford Feast sees an evening of Philly and Motown vibes from the incredible Natalie Williams’ Soul Family – a 10 piece soul band that has held a monthly residency at Ronnie Scott’s for the last 16 years! \nSupported by The Filthy Six\, possibly the most exciting\, authentic soul jazz outfit in the UK today! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnthems Ibiza Orchestra\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSat 13 Jul 2024 7:00pm – 11:00pm\n\nClosing this year’s Shelford Feast is the largest live band we’ve had on stage: the 18 piece Anthems Ibiza Orchestra\, complete with singers. \nSupported by Worldy\, playing club classic hits\, bringing high energy performances and merging songs together to bring you a party like no other.
