Study Day on  The Waves,  Saturday 21 September 2019,  11.00 am to 5.00 pm.  Literature Cambridge presents an intensive day of lectures and a seminar on Virginia Woolf’s lyrical novel of 1931, with leading scholars Alison Hennegan, Claire Nicholson and Trudi Tate. £90.00/£80.00 students.

An Introduction to Reading Poetry,  Saturday 19 October 2019,  2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.  Do you love poetry but sometimes find it difficult to understand? Do you want to get more out of reading poetry? Two Cambridge scholars will guide us through the basics of reading poetry. Our theme will be love poetry, looking at some great poems from Shakespeare to the present day. £50.00/£45.00 students.

Study Day on Hamlet,  Saturday 16 November 2019,  2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.    An intensive afternoon of lectures and a seminar on Hamlet, Shakespeare’s great tragedy of grief, revenge, and madness. The lecturers are world-renowned scholars Adrian Poole and Fred Parker. Unmissable.  £50.00/£45.00 students.

Study Day on Toni Morrison’s Beloved,  Saturday 18 January 2020,  2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.   A powerful account of the lives of African-American people at the end of the period of slavery. With Cambridge scholars Kasia Boddy and Michael Kalisch. £50.00/£45.00 students.

Study Day on Jane Austen’s Emma,  Saturday 21 March 2020,  2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.  Cambridge lecturers Fred Parker and Louise Joy will take a new look at this much-loved novel of 1816. £50.00/£45.00 students.
