Friday May 7–Saturday May 8
Horseheath Village Community Association will be hosting its second Horseheath Market on Saturday May 8th – and this time they are adding stalls for local craftsfolk too. The food stalls can be found outside the hall with eco-friendly refillable stalls from The Refill Barn and TUB-refillables offering groceries and cleaning products (don’t forget to bring your bottles and containers!) plus sausages from Totham Bangers, meat pies from River Glem Rare Breeds Smallholdings, organic fruit and vegetables from Nourish, cakes and bakes from All Things Baked and Buttercup Bakery, free-range eggs and honey from Thistledown in Cardinals Green, local beer from Linton’s microbrewery Wylde Sky, home-made preserves from Karen’s Kitchen and The Jam Trolley and even treats for our canine friends from Shellys Chews on offer.
The craft market will be the first event to be hosted inside the newly refurbished Village Hall and will include jewellery from not just one, but two Streetly End jewellers – Justine Jarman of Chilli Designs and Shirley Shadford of Studio 50 Glass Design, hand-made photographic gift cards from Withersfield artist Sue Varian of Cards in Bloom, Textile design artwork from Donna Goymer and Hannah Rae, hand-made soaps from Wild Soaps, stained glass items from Twinkling Traveller Sara Davey of Castle Camps – and many others.
Visitors to the craft market will be asked to wear face masks whilst inside the hall and observe the one-way system.
Come along and enjoy a coffee, a freshly baked waffle or crepe from The Teapod, or from 11.30 the Village Hall bar will be open offering a table service following the current Covid-19 restrictions.
The market can be found at Horseheath Village Hall, Haverhill Road, Horseheath CB1 4QR on Saturday May 8th from 9.00 am -1.00 pm. Parking is along the road – please be mindful of local residents, leave space for disabled drivers and avoid blocking the bus stop thanks.
Horseheath will be holding a regular monthly market here throughout the year on the second Saturday of each month.
