Eastfest

Eastfest is an East Anglian charity Rock festival. It was started in 2019,after the tragic death of Cambridgeshire Rock musician Richard East, who had struggled with Health issues and finally took his own life.His Friends,Family and fellow Musicians wanted to do a tribute to him, which resulted in the Eastfest festival held annually at the Coach House Hotel grounds Flint Cross near Royston.
A family friendly event, the 3 years of the festival have had excellent bands and raised thousands for the charities Zero Suicide alliance and now Lifecraft the chosen charity this year.
All the Musicians give their talent for free for this great cause. It is truly a community of people coming together to raise awareness and to fund Mental health charities.
On July 9th Eastfest will have Europes no 1 .Bruce Springsteen tribute band Bootleg Boss head-lining, and sets from awesome bands Boneyard, Big in Brazil, 6am Saint, Richey’s band Black lightning (who he formed with Medicine hat singer Mark Jackson) and a young new band Red Flag.
A rocking good day,there is a camping area and a BBQ operated by the venue.
Tickets are on sale at the venue, corn exchange and on social media pages for east fest.
