Community Artwork Exhibition Project at The Farmland Museum
Wednesday July 3 - Wednesday July 31
As part of a woodland theme for a project delivered by Artworks, a service run by local learning disability charity Eddie’s, The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey have kindly agreed to display the artwork in their Docky Box Tea Room for a month, launching with a private view on Wednesday 3 July at 11:00am.
In this exciting collaboration between the two charities, artwork created will be displayed and offered up for sale each weekend at The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey. The museum, set in tranquil surroundings near Waterbeach, tells an 850 year story of farming, communities and life in the Cambridgeshire Fens.
Artworks is a vibrant, happy and supportive group that provides an opportunity for people (18+) with a learning disability to be creative and take part in arts and crafts. It also offers people the chance to socialise and build new friendship groups, which improves people’s well being. To find out more about the service e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
