Cambridge University Botanic Garden Re-opening
Wednesday June 10 - Wednesday December 23£6.00
The Cambridge University Botanic Garden has issued an update on its reopening.
The gardens will be open from Tuesday (June 10) , with some changes.
Initially, the tourist spot will be open to those with a paid membership and then to the public from June 16.
Social distancing and hygiene measures have been put in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Only those with tickets pre-booked on the website can enter, including those with memberships who get free entry, so staff can control the number of visitors on site.
Children under 16 must also have a pre-booked ticket, though they can still get in for free.
There will be a limited number of tickets available each day to prevent overcrowding, and they will be released at 10am each Thursday for the following week.
Tickets for those with memberships will go on sale from June 4 at 10.00 am, and tickets for the general public will go on sale from June 11.
The garden said opening initially just for members was a thank-you for their continued support during the closure.
It will be closed on June 15 to make any necessary changes before the wider reopening.
