SUMMARY:Cambridge Military Fair
DESCRIPTION:Taking place from  11AM to 5PM on Parkers Piece. \n11am Event starts with the Brazilian drum band\, followed by a Freedom of the City Parade and Freedom of the City presentation by Cambridge City dignitaries to HMS Protector ice patrol ship and the ships company. The parade will also include 254 Medical Regiment\, veterans and cadets. \nAt 2.55pm a Lancaster 2WW bomber is due to do a flypast over the event. \nThere will be various food stalls including: Charred Hogs\, Bratwurst\, burger\, hog roast\, Mexican food\, wood fired pizza\, Street BBQ\, Souvlaki\, South African & Jamaican food. Donuts\, Belgian waffles\, cake stalls and The Grain & Hop Store beer van. \nKids activities: Bungee trampolines and play centre\, Bouncy castle arena and face painting. \nStalls and Crafts: Handcrafted gifts\, wood crafts\, clocks\, plaques\, hats\, bags\, wristbands\, tombola\, sweet cones. \nAttractions: Classic cars and motorbikes\, 1940’s singers/dancers\, laser tag. \nMilitary stalls & clubs: WW2 Cambs Regt (Fen Tigers)\, East Anglia Veterans Association\, USAF Lakenheath Military surplus stall\, Militaria antiques\, Military ware – sold and bought\, Royal British Legion Riders Association. \nMilitary Village\, Re-enactments groups and VIPs\, The Mayor and the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridge. \nFor info ring Leon Cracknell at 07806 873885
