Tuesday October 5Saturday October 9

£7.50 – £9.00

“Bull” is Mick Barlett’s shockingly unpleasant show about the dark side of human nature and is an intimate and intense play.

The play begins with three people and two jobs – Jessica (previously Isobel), Tony and Thomas. It questions the way in which they treat each other as they wait for their boss to arrive and make one of them redundant. We see two seemingly sharper individuals bully the other in a way more reminiscent of a playground than an office. When their boss Carter finally arrives, the audience expects a release from the cruelty they have witnessed.

Bull unpicks whether the capitalist dog-eat-dog mentality is fair or even effective, reminding us that it’s not all about merit; there is a sadistic streak in many more than one might expect.

Taking place at Corpus Play Room.

Performances on 5th to 9th October at 7.00 pm.

Tickets – £7.50 – £9.00.
