DESCRIPTION:From 2-4.30pm. It is National Mills Weekend \nBourn mill is the oldest surviving windmill in the country. Set in beautiful scenery\, it was built during the reign of King Henry VIII! \nOnce a month during the summer\, the mill is opened and guides will show you how the mill works and tell you the history of this fascinating building. \nNot only can you see inside\, you can also have a go at the incredible task of turning the whole mill on its post – an amazing experience. \nThe mill is owned by local charity CambridgePPF and run by dedicated volunteers. \nTea and cakes available to purchase. \nMembers free\, non-members £4 adult\, £1 per child. \nLast tour is at 4pm \nFor info go to Bourn Windmill Open Day – National Mills Weekend | Cambridge Past\, Present and Future
