SUMMARY:Book Evening - The King's Mother
DESCRIPTION:At Watersone’s Book Shop at  6pm\, critically acclaimed author of Cecily Annie Garthwaite will be discussing her highly-anticipated new novel\, The King’s Mother. \nFrom the Wars of the Roses to the dawn of the Tudor age\, this is a story of mothers and sons; of maternal ferocity and female ambition – of all they can build and all they can destroy. \nAnnie Garthwaite grew up in a working-class community in the north-east of England before embarking on a thirty-year career in international business. In 2017\, she returned to her first love – books – and began writing the story of a lifelong fascination\, Cecily Neville. \nThe event will take place at Waterstones Cambridge\, 22 Sidney Street\, Cambridge\, CB2 3HG. Tickets are £8 for General Admission\, £5 for Waterstones Loyalty Cardholders. \nFor info e-mail Amy Crawford\, Events Coordinator\, events.cambridge@waterstones.co
