Cambridge 105 Radio’s Sunday lunchtime magazine show reflecting news, views, celebrity interviews and an ever-eclectic selection of music. Veteran radio presenter Tony Barnfield’s regular features include Venue Visit, where he reports from locations in and around Cambridge and further afield and, throughout 2019, Spotlight on…College, investigating in turn the history of the 30-odd constituent Colleges of the University of Cambridge and meeting some of today’s staff and students. Plus a second chance to hear interviews from our sister series Cambridge Alumni, including Griff Rhys Jones and Jeremy Paxman.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are listening to Cambridge 105 Radio than ever but in a competitive media landscape it’s sometimes difficult to make a noise. And advertising revenues are falling across the sector.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves, who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, whose businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
Please help to support community radio and make our future more secure. You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution through Local Giving.
