The CTC production of Sweet Charity is produced by Louis Ling for Cambridge Theatre Company.
Sweet Charity follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Charity Hope Valentine, a woman who always gives her heart and her dreams to the wrong man. Charity sings, dances and cries her way through a series of brief romances until she finds herself stuck in a lift with the shy, nervous Oscar Lindquist. Has Charity finally found her match?
Cy Coleman’s score features favourite hits such as Hey, Big Spender; If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm of Life.
Christine Poole will play Charity. She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
Tickets – £10.00 to £16.00.
