Strummers’ next gig is their third birthday gig, celebrating with three of their favourite acts: Marina Forance, Tony Phillips and Causton and Walker.
Marina Florance is a singer/songwriter, originally from London, whose music crosses a number of genres and has been described as acoustic, Americana, Blues, Country and folk, but while it doubtless draws inspiration from all these sources her voice and style are uniquely and identifiably her own.
Causton and Walker are a fast-paced, eclectic folk duo who are always a pleasure to listen to.
Tony Phillips is founder of Cluzion Music and genial host of the Thursday evening session at the Plough and Fleece pub in Horningsea. He is also, of course, a sublime singer/songwriter who won the Milkmaild Folk Club Song Competition in 2017.
