The Farmland Museum is offering two free Maypole Dancing workshops to teachers, educators, youth and community workers on Wednesday 18 April from 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
The workshop is one of several events that the museum is running as part of the Tracing Traditions Project organised by the Museum of Cambridge. Maypole dancing as well as being part of our cultural heritage is great for team-building and well-being. This workshop will show you how once you’ve been taught the basics you can create your own dances with people of all ages and use any music you like including Garage!
What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.30, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
