Make a Poncho for Refugees

Friday January 5 at 10:00 am - Sunday January 7 at 10:00 am

Cambridge Convoy Refugee Action Group is making more ponchos for refugees in France and if you can help with sewing or cutting for an hour, or all day, please come along.

It would be good to get an idea of numbers, so if possible e-mail lara@camcrag.org.uk to confirm which day you are attending, whether you are sewing and/or cutting, and whether or not you can bring a sewing machine.

Session 1 – Friday, 5 January from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at St. Luke’s Church, Victoria Road, Cambridge. CB4 3DZ

Session 2 – Saturday, 6 January from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at Chesterton Methodist Church, Green End Road, Cambridge. CB4 1RW

Session 3 – Sunday, 7 January from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at Cambridge Art Works, 5 Green’s Road, Cambridge. CB4 3EF

Last time 127 ponchos were made and the aim is to send out 300 with the convoy on 12 January, so let’s get sewing.
