Following the success of The Grafton’s Ping Pong Parlour which opened at the beginning of September, weekly ‘Bat & Chat’ structured sessions are to be introduced into the Parlour for visitors aged 50 and above.
In partnership with Table Tennis England and Cambridge City Council’s Active Lifestyles Team, the ‘Bat & Chat’ sessions will be led by a facilitator and involve a combination of free play, fun games and a break for socialising. It is hoped that these sessions will provide an additional opportunity to take part in table tennis and get active, whilst meeting new people and making new friendships.
The Bat & Chat sessions are free to attend and will take place in the Ping Pong Parlour in The Grafton every Wednesday from 10:30-11:30, starting on 31 October until 28 November 2018. The Ping Pong Parlour can be found on the ground floor near H&M.
