This week Book Night focuses on poetry. Our studio guest is winner of the Crashaw Prize and Granta New Poet, Kaddy Benyon, who talks to us about her first poetry collection, Milk Fever, and her forthcoming collection, Call Her Alaska (as well as what it was like to write for Hollyoaks!). We also have interviews with performance poets Fay Roberts and Luke Wright who discuss the process of writing and performing poetry.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are listening to Cambridge 105 Radio than ever but in a competitive media landscape it’s sometimes difficult to make a noise. And advertising revenues are falling across the sector.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves, who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, whose businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
Please help to support community radio and make our future more secure. You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution through Local Giving.
